The key was a bit bent and worn from all the years of trying to open things that were not the right fit.  Finally, after a lot of trial and error, it made the unmistakable click of opening.  I tied a string to the old bent key and hung it on the North facing side of a giant oak tree.  I know where it is but I won’t need it again for the passing of time, lessons learned and falling of tears through laughter and sorrow have rusted it open, forever unlocked.
