When they found him face down in the reeds at the north end of the lake, of course she thought it was all about her.  After all, she was the one who had left him.  Truth be told, he had left her years ago but had been too lazy to move.  Why would his last thought have been about her when he had never even given her a first.  It was easier to take the fifth than have the conversations; the fifth of Jack.
