  1. These are really awesome. Oh, how I would love to learn of your inspiration for these snippets of brilliance. You should continue on and write a story around each of them. These are great prompts to write a short story, or perhaps even a novel. You are very talented, indeed! Best wishes for an inspired day, and for having some of it rub off on me 😉

    • Thank you for your kind words, truly. My good friend Mary, who also commented on this, is always urging me that she wants these to grow into stories. For me, writing is often like taking photographs. I love the stories that live in the smallest of moments or exchanges between people. It is almost like a shorthand of life. Also, some days are so busy with trying to write SOMETHING and all the other details of life, 11 words is all I got! I think anyone can write flash fiction, it is all around you. Wherever you are, stop, take a look around and challenge yourself to say something in a very few words. I will advise that you have to let go of the idea that the reader needs to know it all, but give them enough to wonder and want more! I would love to hear what you come up with!

Thank you for stopping by and reading. I enjoy hearing from readers and fellow bloggers and invite you to share your comments. Please visit my non fiction blog at www.eleventhhourmom.wordpress.com WRITE ON!
